Ugh. A little about me.
This is the one thing I’d rather have somebody else write, but here we go.
In my last performance review, the one area of improvement my boss offered was, “you don’t take enough credit for what you do around here.”
I’ve been called “pathologically responsible,” which is so true it’s a little embarrassing.
And great work is as important to me as any good creative director, but I’ve always believed in doing what’s best for the client first. I mean, if it doesn’t work, what’s the point?
As a writer, I love crafting language and playing with ideas to achieve a desired result.
As a creative director, I believe in treating people with respect, but holding them accountable, too. Generally speaking, I improve the work, streamline processes, empower and teach people, build teamwork and relationships, and make things run better, happier and more profitably.
Did that last part sound kinda braggy? That’s what I was afraid of.
